Royal Trekking is one of the shortest and easiest treks in the Annapurna region. The word 'Royal' is derived only after Prince Charles of Wales visited the rural areas north of Pokhara valley with 90 entourage in the early eighties. After His Royal Highness visit the area which was famous by the name of Annapurna Skyline trekking is well recognized by Royal Trekking and getting much popular among the trekkers. This trek provides the opportunities for meaningful cultural experiences with the diverse mix of people and cultures that inhabit this region. This Royal Trekking is highly recommended for those who have never experienced trekking in Nepal before and also suitable for family with children. As the route does not ascend to high altitude, it is easy to walk along through the rice terraced fields, bamboo forest and villages. While on the trek the views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Manaslu, Lamjung and Langtang Himalayan mountain ranges are spectacular. As compared to other trekking areas in Annapurna region, Royal Trekking route is less crowded and anyone can get close to nature, culture and lifestyle. Visiting to various villages you will find ancient religious practices and traditions that have remained unchanged for centuries.
